To all: last update technically might broke some of these missions because R* likes to add some tweaks to AI behavior in their updates, but I'm away from my computer and GTAV, so I won't be able to verify anytime soon. If anyone has access to the game and on latest version, would really appreciate to report how it works for you.
Some mods may break these missions too, but I can't help pinpointing which mod exactly might be the plot.
Do you mean you don't see starting point on the map? Did you try playing test mission in Build a Mission? Do you see starting point in those missions? If not, try to reinstall and follow instructions very carefully.
Sorry for late reply. Nope, it isn't. Realistic Storm has it's own weather.xml file which will conflict with mine.

Things you talk about aren't Build a Mission fault but authors who spawn vehicles incorrectly or do not know how to assign targets in the right way. You can try to fix it yourself if you want, but aimless has nothing to do with it.

Honestly I don't really see any point in this. I created fully story based mission pack without any problems. When you wanna do it, just make numerical sequence to give player an idea in which order he should play these missions. If you want branching, you can just make it look like this:
It would be too much of a hustle make things like mission complete or incomplete detection script, you could easily remember or just take notes yourself.
Nothing is preventing from making good story based content, it is only intent and view of author how he wants missions to look and play. Making heists is extremely easy with BAM if you have Open All Interiors mod, but since there are tons of all kinds of mods featuring heists, making them over and over seems rather pointless.
Mini-games is basically the same story. If some modder implements hacking in the game at some locations, you just create mission in BAM and point in requirements that Hacking mod needed, etc. There is a mod which allows you lockpicking, and you can easily build missions around that.
BAM lacks some features, but at the same time with creative approach you can make pretty awesome stuff, it just takes shitloads of time to assemble and make it work as intended, and the main issue as I see it - not too many people is interested in this content. Some cars and other models are way more popular so I think authors just don't bother with mission building simply because of that.
Fantastic mod! It works perfectly fine but some more features like spawning rival gangers to intercept you or some ambushes would be nice. Sadly Guadmaz went AWOL, so won't see anything new here...
Honestly no idea. Did you try aimless test missions? Does starting point appear in those? If not, try to re-install Build a Mission.
