Next update for Sea Life V (MIGHT) consist of:
Schools of fish
Shark Frenzies
Stringray fevers (Large groups of stingrays)
whales, and more orcas.
This will all be without scripts, so lets see how this works :)
OK LISTEN UP EVERYONE!! UPDATE 2018 AS OF 9/11/2018: Ok listen up, whoever is interested in this mod, like myself. I've always being very interested in this mod and that's the main reason I downloaded it in the first place but, when I downloaded it previously I noticed the "sea" creatures were very sparce, thinly dispersed, not necessarily noticable when you go in the water so I was questioning myself whether this mod was still working and whether it still works with the latest 1.0.1493 patch , so I began testing this mod thoroughly to figure out how to make it work properly and Voilà! I figured out the problem. It turns out the authors of this mod, JammersXAM & Cass, failed to specify the "popgroups.ymt" file goes into two different paths in the gta 5 directory. Not only does it goes into: mods\update\update.rpf (as they mentioned here) but, also must be installed into > mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5. That's why this mod wasn't working properly, because it has to go into two different paths within the gta 5 directory (using OpenIV). Once you do that you will definitely notice the difference. The best spot I recommend to test it and witness this mod at work would be Vespucci Beach at "Del Perro" Beach area (Del Perro beach is straight across from the big Yacht on the water). Go in the water and start swimming around and dive under the water, you will definitely see a lot of Sea life once you install the "popgroups.ymt" file properly into those two paths I mentioned. I was surprised and astonished when I finally installed this mod properly. I saw lots of Dolphins swimming around, like 3-4 rare Orcas swimming close to the shore, lots of Sting rays..etc..etc.. and that was just within the short distance between the Heist Yacht and the Del Perro beach at Vespucci shore. Trust me, you're gonna love this mod once you do what I did. Follow my instructions correctly and this mod will work as it should.

@vazlu2804 Glad it worked for you too. I always wanted this mod to work properly, finally I was able to figure out why it wasn't working properly. I wish the authors would've provided the right installation procedures in the first place but, oh well, someone like myself had to come along and fix it.
@JAM102970 Thanks again. I wish someone does some animal texture conversion from other games like ARK or Jurassic Park. I love prehistoric marine animals !!!
@JammersXAM Hello. Thanks for the great mod. It has been working great. Unfortunately, I have a much larger mod that also replaces the popgroups.ymt file. Do you happen to still know which lines are edited by your mod and their values so that I can carry them over to the larger mod?

IT'S WORK, the mod seem not work because Author add too few, all you had to do is copy and paste the Fish in that file, make its to 10GB and you will had full 10000+ Fish in that small ocean
Thank you! Sea life is neglected too often. I wish someone would make a mod to increase dolphin intelligence and events, the game doesn't do them justice. They also die if they touch the air -- they're mammals they can BREATH air. Someone needs to fix that :)

Why would this go in updates.rpf? There's no popgroups.ymt there. There is one in update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5 though.
For the ones with already modded popgroups.ymt, you guys may want to try this
1. Use OpenIV to navigate to mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\popgroups.ymt
2. Export popgroups.ymt to desktop, make a backup, and edit it with Notepad as follows:
3. Search for "<flags>POPGROUP_AMBIENT POPGROUP_AQUATIC</flags>". You should see the model name A_C_FISH
4. Replace the content between equivalent <Item> and </Items> lines (containing the above flag) with:

@kushkronik Give it a try, pal :) I swear it is that easy. Just remember to backup first and read the text structure carefully, you'll figure it out
@JAM102970 that is rather frustrating that the authors didn't specify about that second part. very lazy indeed
@decbee I know JammersXAM, the reason why he didn't specified the second path for this mod is because at the time when he uploaded the mod, back in January 2017, the patch at that time was the 1.37 "Import/Export" and that version only had the popgroups.ymt located at one path, which is the one he specified in the instructions, later on Rockstar added the popgroups.ymt at a secnod path with subsequent patches and that's when the mod began to fail because people weren't aware that the popgroups.ymt also went into a secondary path but, it wasn't really JammersXAM's fault. However, he should've updated it since though.
