Description:
The vz. 58 is a 7.62×39mm assault rifle designed and manufactured in Czechoslovakia and accepted into service in the late 1950s as the 7,62 mm samopal vzor 58, replacing the vz. 52 self-loading rifle and the 7.62×25mm Tokarev Sa 24 and Sa 26 submachine guns.
Replaces the Assault Rifle.
Features:
Fully animated
Working collision data
2K textures
Please note:
The iron sights sort of work and align somewhat so that's cool.
Unfortunately, the magazine is a little big and doesn't fit quite in the hands but it's not noticeable unless you look at it in slow mo.
The charging handle is also slightly misaligned but again, not noticeable in normal gameplay.
Attachments don't work.

Adjusted the model and made it slightly wider. Redid textures as well and moved the attachment nodes so now attachments are compatible for whatever reason you may want them.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in
mods/update/x64/dlcpacks/patchday8ng/dlc.rpf/x64/models/cdimages/weapons.rpf

@MylesTheBroom I only played SA as a kid. Haven't played it since. I should mod it.
@chussy Yeah I think it's because the weapon was taken from a mod for Insurgency. Also, there are only 3 textures, a diffuse, normal map and some other weird texture I'm not sure what it is but I used as roughness. I might update the mod later but for now I'm going to focus on other things.

Due to a recent update for GTA V I am unable to play GTA now because script hook needs to be updated. I have many mods in progress and will upload as soon as I can. I'm in pain right now. I literally have 6 mods I want to test but can't because of this stupid update.

You are doing an absolute blessing with making these firearms, and such a high quality aswell. You think about ever making an FAL 50.00?

@Equinox407 If you are gonna to a FAL it should replace the Special Carbine since it's animations fits the best. Since the FAL is shaped differently from the default Special Carbine model the first person ironsights won't work and the muzzle flash will be in the wrong place. However this is easily fixable with meta edits.

To fix the muzzle flash position you add this line to the <Fx> section in the weapons meta file
<MuzzleOverrideOffset x="0.000000" y="0.000000" z="0.000000" />
Increasing the x value will move the muzzle flash forward and decreasing it will move it backwards.
Increasing the y value will move the muzzle flash to the right and decreasing it will move it to left.
Increasing the z value will move the muzzle flash upwards and decreasing will move it downards.
The meta for the Special Carbine is called weaponspecialcarbine.meta and it's located in
mods/update/update.rpf/dlc_patch/mpbusiness/common/data/ai
Hope this helps when you are making a FAL.
@Equinox407 You could do an addon. Addon makes it possible to make an accurate first person sight, and gives other benefits.
If we are talking about getting firearms from Insurgency Sandstorm, they have really nice FAL and G3A3 models with loads of attachments.
