About this mod:-
This mod changes vehicle handling and physics to make it more realistic. The handling is changed with the help of GTA 4 handling file. About 200 vehicles handling is changed. Vehicles weight, center of mass, speed, brake, traction, suspension, damage, etc. data is changed to make handling similar to GTA 4.
(Note:- Some vehicles don't show body roll like in GTA 4 even if handling is changed. For example:- Oracle2, TurismoR, Rhapsody, Warrener, Towtruck, Phantom etc.)
In burnout version of this mod the cars do a burnout or spinning of the wheels when pressing w(gas) while the car is stationary or in low speed, which slows down the car for a bit. mainly burnouts are visible in sport cars.
In non-burnout version of this mod there is no burnouts when pressing gas at low speed or when at stationary position in the cars, which is more natural and also makes the gameplay smoother. So, I recommend this version.

Installation:-
(WARNING: Make sure you make a back up of "update" file before installing this mod. In any case it does not work replace the update file.)
1. Download and Install open iv from here: https://openiv.com/
2. Extract this mod file using winrar or any other extractors.
3. Start open iv and open with the GTA 5 directory.
4. Open tools menu and then click on ASI Manager.
5. Install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI.
6. Then Toggle edit mode on by pressing F6 key or clicking on Edit mode on top of the
window.
7. Open update folder.
8. Then open update.rpf folder.
9. Click 'Show in "mods" folder' option
10. Then Open "Common" Folder.
11. Then Open "data" folder.
12. Then find "handling.meta" file and right click on it and select replace option and then
replace with extracted handling.meta file.
13. Close open IV then Start the game.

Great job! Really feels like GTAIV physics. It would also be cool if you changed bike's handling data too. Because bikes were extra awesome in IV.

Thanks, this is BY FAR the most fun I've had with a GTA V car mod, definitely the most realistic/closest to IV. Not to look a gift horse in the mouth but do you mind if I ask how far you intend to take this mod, are the DLC's eventually going to be reworked at all in the future?
@MJP79 Thank you! I am happy that you enjoyed it and thank you for the question. My plan right now is to change handling of all the original story mode cars, trucks, vans, bikes etc. I am not sure right now, but maybe I will change DLC vehicles handling too in the future.

It would be better if you made this as an optional feature by including a second handling.meta file with that parameter set to zero and letting users choose what type of handling to use... Burnout is cool :/
@DJ-LEXX Hey, I will add that option in next version !! I also like burnouts but I did that because some cars would just not drive forward after stopping in incline roads (like near michael's house). It's nice knowing you're still interested in this mod !!
When you get to planes and helicopters i recommend removing the turbulence.

whats the difference between Burnout and non burnout version?
@GH00ST_SL4YER In burnout version the cars do a burnout or spinning of the wheels when pressing w(gas) while the car is stationary or in low speed, which slows down the car for a bit. mainly burnouts are visible in sports cars.
In non-burnout option you don't see burnouts when pressing gas at low speed or when at stationary position in the cars, which makes the gameplay feel smooth.
