Description:
This is an improved script for the RageCoop multiplayer mod that fixes the well-known gunshot sound desynchronization issue.
In the original RageCoop, other players' gunshots could not be heard correctly or were out of sync, breaking the immersion during combat.
With this fix, gunfire sounds from other players are now fully synchronized across all clients, making gunfights more realistic and engaging.
Features:
1. Fixes missing gunshot sounds from other players.
2. Works with all weapons (including add-on weapons).
3. Improved audio reliability in multiplayer sessions.
4. Modified based on RageCoop v1.5.4.7 source code and compiled into RageCoop.Client.dll.
Installation:
1. Make sure you have RageCoop 1.5.4.7 properly installed.
2. Download and extract the file from this mod.
3. Replace the corresponding original file in your RageCoop scripts folder with this one.
4. Launch GTA V with RageCoop and enjoy synchronized gunfire sounds!
Notes:
1. This script is based on the RageCoop source code(https://github.com/RAGECOOP), with modifications to fix the sound sync issue.
2. This is client side only, all players should install it for best results.

@Hydraxonn Thanks a lot! 😊 The main change I made was adding full gunshot sound synchronization across clients, with distance filtering to avoid performance issues and noise. If you’re considering getting back into RAGECOOP, I’d be happy to share more technical details or brainstorm features together — I think there’s a lot we could do to improve sync and stability.
Fantastic work! What exactly did you change? I've been debating working on RAGECOOP again for a few weeks now, maybe we can make something happen here
can you make a fix for els cars. That way everyone can see the lighting. With dlcpack els vehicles lights cant be seen
@0pheIia I’m currently discussing with a few like-minded players how we can bring new life to RAGECOOP, and maybe your request will become part of a future update!
