You can only spawn 5 dogs. If an NPC starts attacking you the dogs will defend you.
Requirements:
ScriptHookV: http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
ScriptHookVDotNet: https://github.com/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/releases
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Go to your Grand Theft Auto V main folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto V
2. Make a new folder named "scripts" all lowercase
3. Move the "BodyGuardDogs.dll" file into the "scripts" folder
4. Launch the game
5. Press "H" to spawn a dog
Please note that I'm very new to modding so expect some glitches

@jedijosh920 yeah that video is what get me into scripting
did those dogs use animals animation (like chop) or did they use guns and crazy-jerk-twisted-pop-rock'n'roll their body for shoot peoples with guns 1 time on 5 like in others bodyguards mods ?
this could escalate into some crazy fun, like bodyguard chicken, or attack pigeon bombarding enemy with poop. If i'm not mistaken poop is already in weapons.meta... lol

It happened to me too when I ran too fast. They just froze and then attacked me when I went back to them.

When you press H, there is a notification that dog has been spawned but he doesn't appear. What the hell?
I figurued how to make them od work, turns out that dogs attack you too if you hit somebody. So this mod is pretty fucking pointless.

@madkirk74 possible conflict in your "Relationship" setting. Though I've seen this happen to me, its actually rare & seldom.

@madkirk74 I believe there maybe two ways, one through a Simple Trainer & the other within your Mods folder of the game >common.rpg> Relationship.dat
