INSTALLATION:
For FiveM:
- Download the modified weapons.meta file.
- Open OpenIV.
- Enable Edit Mode.
- Navigate to:
- mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai
- Replace the existing weapons.meta file with the downloaded one.
- Disable Edit Mode and close OpenIV.
- Launch GTA V and test the weapon recoil.
For Single Player (SP):
- Download the modified weapons.meta file.
- Open OpenIV.
- Enable Edit Mode.
- Navigate to:
- GTAV\update\update.rpf\common\data\ai
- Replace the existing weapons.meta file with the downloaded one.
- Disable Edit Mode and close OpenIV.
- Launch GTA V and test the weapon recoil.
CHANGELOG 1.2:
- Adjusted recoil for each weapon type (pistols, assault rifles, snipers, etc.).
- Added realistic recoil values for all in-game weapons, including modded ones.
- Suppressor support: 25% recoil reduction when equipped.
- Optimized weapons.meta file for faster loading times.
- Minor bug fixes in the weaponcomponents.meta file.
- Improved stability with smoother loading of weapon modifications.
Notes:
- Always back up your original weapons.meta file before replacing it.
- Use this mod only in single-player mode to avoid penalties in online modes.
