Full credit goes to Katka for the original mod on steam. I simply ported this mod to GTA V. This model is from Insurgency Sandstorm, I take no credit for creating the model or textures.

Description:
The M4 carbine is a 5.56×45mm NATO, gas-operated, magazine-fed, carbine developed in the United States during the 1980s. It is a shortened version of the M16A2 assault rifle.
Replaces the Carbine Rifle.
Features:
Fully animated
Working collision data
Attachment compatible
2K textures
Please note:
The iron sights line up perfectly but scopes are not usable.
Animations work flawlessly.
Only has minor clipping around the trigger guard and stock but that's it.

Fixed carry handle and added a version with no carry handle, only rear sights.
Also added an optional darker magazine texture.

Adjusted position of scope.
Installation:
Just extract the archive and place the files in

@MylesTheBroom Working on it now. Just fixed the carry handle and made a version for no carry handle, just the flip-down sight from the MK18. Looking at the mag textures now.

Is there a way this can be put in as an addon weapon instead of a replace?
@Equinox407 The scope attachment clips through the bottom of the carry handle when equipped and this happens with any other scope attachments that are added with meta edits. Could you move the attachment node higher up?

Very cool mod good sir. What you could possible do is make the iron sights a separate attachment, so there is noclipping with the scope.

Is the ACOG a different mod? because it still shows the basic scope for me
