Are you damn sick of being stuck with the same stun gun color across all departments? Want to use a nice LSPD spec green one, but don't then want every department using it as well? Well I have the solution to that, and more! Well, just that at the moment, sorry. Using GTA V's glorious tint system, (you know, the thing you've completely forgotten about because every gun mod ever ignores it in it's entirety) we can make stun guns great again, making us able to have those fancy coloured stun guns for whatever department we desire, without having to resort to *retch* addon weapons.
Modified existing stun gun textures so tints look more like actual tasers. The Regular, Green, and Gold tints are the ones I made sure to look as much like the EUP holstered tasers as possible, the rest I just had fun with, they're still cool I reckon.
Features:
Overhauled tints for Stun Gun.
Almost identical to EUP holstered tasers.
Known Bugs:
Weird pixel blending in certain spots, nothing I can do without editing (and likely breaking) the actual weapon model.
Installation:
Extract the two .ytd files from the archive and put them in basically any .rpf archive that's from a recent update. Or you can do what I do, which is put them in an addon dlc, in which case I'd recommend using albo's one. Oh yeah, also, use your mods folder.

@AllenKennedy One question, when will you launch the Smith & Wesson M&P? :) I am very eager!
Finally some new variants, the vanilla ones are kind of boring.
@OfficerMendez When I have the time to start another project.
Based and shockpilled
Some Coil X69s, finally!!
incredible good job
And again a thing that satisfies my autism.
@AllenKennedy A lore-friendly M&P knockoff like your combat pistol would awesome considering the real-life versions of the three largest agencies in-game all carry M&P's. Also, the tasers are dope. finally able to get that weird lapd green in game without making all the non weird agencies use them...
@vt1032 Yeah, I'd like to do an M&P knockoff, but the only model I was able to get my hands on wasn't anywhere near game-ready, so I think that'd be on hold until I find a good model that fits the criteria I'm looking for.
@AllenKennedy This the one you're talking about? https://www.gta5-mods.com/weapons/smith-wesson-m-p-9mm-animated
@vt1032 no
this is epic
Perfect
@AllenKennedy Will the Smith & Wesson M&P be the next weapon you publish?
@OfficerMendez No, I'm doing a P226 probably. I don't know if I can do an M&P any time soon. The model I was going to use turned out to be shit so I can't use that.
Someone will have to give me ELI5 level installation instructions. I put the textures into patchday8ng because it had a weapons folder in it, but they don't show up in game so I can only assume it was the wrong patchday folder to put them in...
@Hyfrith Are you using VX5's glock?
@AllenKennedy Yes! Is that it?
@Hyfrith Yeah, that makes it so weapons in patchday8ng are ignored apparently, so I'd use something like albo's modding dlc.
Cool!
