There comes a point where an Ambulance is too small to impress, and a Fire Truck is useless. MTL haven't offered much in the last 5 years, so this is all you get. It was necessary, believe it.
- Fire Hazmat Truck
MTL Fire Hazmat Truck by Monkeypolice188
This a Hazmat Truck variation of my improved MTL Fire Truck. In essence, it takes the rear passenger unit of an extended Ambulance and attaches it to the rear of a Fire Truck cab. The idea is heavily inspired by lt.caine's FDLC Hazmat Truck Mod available in GTA IV.
---- Features ----
As standard, the truck comes with all the improvements found on my improved Fire Truck, including an improved custom lighting setup.
The vehicle is available in two forms each with a livery dedicated to its jurisdiction.
- LODs
- Dirt mapping
- Breakable glass and glass shards
- 2 liveries (template included in the archive)
ATTENTION: This mod uses sirensetting 30. This mod will not work if another mod is currently using this value.

---- Installation ----
1. Start OpenIV.
2. Navigate to the 'mods' folder or create it in the GTA V folder if you don't have it.
3. Navigate to or create the file path "update\x64\dlcpacks" within the mods folder:
4. Copy the 'firehazmat' folder found within the Add-On archive into the mods folder.
5. Navigate to 'dlclist.xml' in update\update.rpf\common\data\. Right click and select "move to mods folder", or "show in mods folder" if you already have.
6. Add "<Item>dlcpacks:\firehazmat\</Item>" to the bottom of the list within the dlclist.xml file.
7. If done correctly, the mod should be ready to use.
Two vehicles are included as add-on, model names "firehazmat" (Blaine County) and "firehazmat2" (Los Santos).
This mod cannot replace the existing firetruck model.

Can you publish a model with red and blue lights with a red steady burn? I would love to see this as an LSPD bomb squad truck.
Changed Layout in vehicles.meta to LAYOUT_VAN, now the entry/exit on the rear doors isn't buggy
Any recommendations for mods I can use with this?
It is very coll, can someone help me make it spawn ambiently in front of fire stations?
