The BTR-90 "Rostok" (also referred to as the GAZ-5923) is a Russian armored personnel carrier. Wheel floating combat armored vehicle, equipped with weapons designed for use in motorized rifle divisions of the army.
For the first time the BTR-90 was presented to the public in 1994. Developer — JSC "Gorky automobile plant", the manufacturer stated JSC "Arzamas machine-building plant", the serial production was planned to begin in 2011.
