@Brukanator To be honest it's not even Rockstar's fault. I'm not saying they're completely innocent when it comes to money-hungry crap, but for the most part you can thank Take-Two.
I will say though, it really is getting annoying how like every game studio keeps getting bought out, so now almost every game is under some major company or publisher (EA and Take-Two being the biggest ones, obviously). EA was pretty bad about it, having rushed a lot of games (take NFS MW 2012, for example. There was SO much stuff planned for it, but EA rushed Criterion).
And yeah, I get the frustrations of this game being God only knows how many years old and still thriving on Online content (which I've not once touched, btw, lol, I have 900 hours and it's all in singleplayer), but hey, as long as people continue to play it, nothing will get anywhere. The only thing to do is to just stop buying shark cards or stop buying the game. But people will still do that.
@Eddlm Having tried it myself, it's quite fun. As I've stated before, I'd love to see some configurations regarding g-force and stuff.
But also, I hope to see some per-vehicle customization. With some of my cars, the camera is like super far back and super high up, and it's also pointing downwards at a steep angle. It doesn't look right.
@Brukanator If they're such a C* and if you think the game is dated and bad, then stop playing their game.
@Brukanator To be fair, imagine how long it’d take to develop unique interiors for every car, especially with the massive vehicle list we have now.
It was likely done to save on resources.
I always wondered, imagine if someone edited vanilla cars to give them realistic interiors.
So like for example, the Cavalcade has a lore-friendly Escalade interior or something.
@lorizz12 How do I change the car model at least? Like I said, I use a different add-on E46.
The game as far as I'm concerned actually has gear sounds and stuff built-in, there's just none that sound like a loud straight-cut (though you might find some similar). You could make an add-on sound DLC that sounds like the M3 GTR and also have it use straight-cut sounds and do it that way.
I also feel like I should be able to configure the car model name with this, because I use a different M3 GTR mod. It's also weird I have to add a turbo.
Did you really buy a Boxster?
Looks great! Something I'd ask for is configuration of g-forces, things like how much the camera rotates around the car, how much it pans left-right/forward-backward.
Hey, can you redo the 350z mod to be completely stock but have tuning parts?
