Have you always wanted GTA V to be more realistic and more fun?
This mod provides a more realistic fuel system.
No need to go to a fuel station to refuel, just use a jerrycan you bought at ammunation

Dragg the .lua file into the addons folder inside of the scripts folder
Known bugs
This mod provides a more realistic fuel system.

- All vehicles have their own fuel tank
- Customizable fuel tank size
- Gradual deacceleration, no set speed 0! but an engine which turns off
- Refuel anywhere you'd like
- Realistic fuelling times, about 5 ingame minutes
- Buy Jerrycans to refuel

Is it possible to refuel vehicles by equipping a Jerrycan and pressing the "H" key?
This is great!
The first time I played Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars I was kinda upset when I figured out the gas station was for molotovs, not fuel...now my wishes can come true!
Nice mod paired w/ Manual Transmission. I haven't tried it yet, but I hope there is already a fuel bar, and we should be able to refuel in a gas station, the same way like the Working restaurant mod by Plastic Tangerine.
If those are implemented, this would be awesome! :D
@vismitananda I like my implementation better, you have to buy fuel from ammunation and then can fill up wherever you are.

@failin3 Can you please tell us how to change the speed of the gas run out? Because I can't race without being stuck in the middle of the track.
@DX1TB70GHz Open Fuel.lua in a text editor, there will be a line with: fuel.random=math.random(200,400) All cars spawn with any of the values between 200 and 400 minutes, just change these values.
Make the fuel gauge work please ?

@failin3 Hey, I have made a spreadsheet with all the fuel tank sizes of ALL the vehicles (real life counterparts). I can hand it to you if you're interested.
