--About--
This enables a first person camera in all cutscenes. I have been wanting to make this mod since Jedijosh920 originally made his first person cutscene video. Special thanks to Slick on the GTA5-Mods Discord for helping me at the start.
Any glitches that you see are from Rockstar themselves. First person cutscenes never would have been a thing originally because of animation glitches which are normally hidden by the camera angles.
READ THE README
--Installation--
Install Scripthook V: http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
Copy FPC.asi and FPC.ini into your main GTA V folder
--Key Bindings--
F10: Toggles the mod.
F9: Resets the mod if toggling doesn't fix it.
The mod is on by default.
--Bugs--
The camera is not attached to the player/Is in the ground.
Whenever the player is not supposed to be in the cutscene, this bug occurs. Disable the mod with F10 until the player is visible again and it will be fixed.
--Changelog--
1.0 - Initial release
1.1 - Added ini file. You can now edit the toggle button and change the FOV.
1.2 - Fixed softlock bug.
1.3 - Remade the mod from the ground up. Added a new head tracking option.
1.4 - Added camera smoothing.

Back into modding. Remade this from scratch, and it should be working better. No longer needs Scripthook V .NET, just Scripthook V. Check the description for more info
I'm also getting the weird brown thing on my face that ruins first person. It makes this pretty unusable since I play in first person. It goes away if you quicksave and load, but since you can't do that during missions you just have to live with it.
The cutscenes are pretty awkward in first person anyways. Super choppy. I think maybe it could be better if the camera followed the characters eyes instead of the head? Or maybe just smoothed a bit? The lighting seems to change sometimes during cuts also which looks pretty weird. And sometimes characters will just spaz out in front of you when the cinematic camera isn't on them. This is a really cool concept but it needs major improvements to really be great
@SlimeQ @Maniel-PC I reverted back to 1.2 for now. It was an issue created in part to the experimental issue, and I messed with the cleanup function for the mod. I will fix it soon once the switching is more stable
@I_Robin_Dude This has been possible for as long as Scripthook has been out pretty much. It's just that it doesn't work too well with the third person animations, and there is already a third person mode that works properly. I get why though you'd want it, so I'll look into making it work.
@MrCrazyheat There is a bug that happens after every cutscene were something gets stuck in my characters head and blocks the first person view
amazing mod! im having a bug where the camera isn't in the right position ex. the funeral in the beginning of the game camera is in a grave plot next to the fake funeral no where near michael and the first cutscene with michael and his therapist the camera is stuck looking out the window for the whole cinematic. is this a known bug? or is this something on my end possibly? also i thought a good idea would be to add the ability to freecam in the cinematics so you control what the character is looking at and not have to watch the scripted movements this might fix the choppy movement of the camera aswell just a suggestion not a modder so i have no idea if its possible still gonna use the mod with the bug or not great work thanks!
Please, help! Cutscenes are not recorded! Tell me how to enable recording during cutscene? I know it is possible! I'm desperate. There is no information anywhere. I'd like to edit cutscenes like Duggy
Doesn't work anymore, sad
thank you so much for updateing it
nvm it does not work
@bubbaj0423 What issue did you have?
i got everything right but cant get it to work
GTA V, But Trevor, Franklin, And Michael both have Bodycams stuck on their heads.
My game crashes now..
i uninstalled the ini and the asi file but it still crashes..
man its awesome!
Anyone already tried it with the VR mod?
works great for me, love the immersion this brings
i have a question. i know there was once a option to view a cutscene from a different characters eyes in this mod. why is it not here anymore?
it would be good if i could turn my head freely
