Hey @DJ-LEXX, sorry for the long reply I have been really busy lately.
The reason I left it so players can move freely when washing repairing the vehicle is because trying to get exact position to stand for each vehicle type is challenging let alone very time consuming and in all honesty I just did not have the patients for it.
The was it is currently the player can choose where to stand to help with realism for those vehicles that require awkward positioning.
With the cleaning that is more so you can walk around cleaning that one just makes sense.
I may look at adding it in as a option for people over time or maybe even give you the option to set your own positioning in the ini per vehicle.

Hey @shifuguru, so currently there is some vehicles that have a engine in the trunk, this is something I will figure out in time but the same as my previous comment its quite challenging to go through each vehicle 1 by 1, in fact some vehicles technically speaking does not even have a engine in the 3d model lol, rockstar took some shortcuts there haha.
I will hopefully in time fix this or at least give you guys the option to do it yourselves.

Hey @xtions, did you by chance use any trainers to heal or fix player while in animation?
you should be able to just start cleaning/repairing or even get in your vehicle to reset the props in your hands.
I was pretty sure I fixed this bug so I'm surprised you actually had it.
are you using the latest version?

@MickieFinn no I didn't use any trainers. The issue persists through multiple restarts of the game.

I have uninstalled the mod.

Unfortunately for some reason, when I use this mod, after fixing my vehicle during or just after a police chase, the game's performance tanks, to the point the game's models only load in basic LOD form, or not even showing at all resulting in most of the map being invisible. I really love the way this mod works, and it would be a must have if I wasn't experiencing this game breaking issue.

Never mind Mikie, was being caused by another mod, my apologies.

@xtions That's very weird bro, I'm not sure I see how it would persist after a restart id imagine you have somehow saved your outfit like that with something else.

@MickieFinn I finally tracked it down. For some reason this mod will drop my fps while driving fast at certain intersections or going under the highway by the strip club area. I remove the mod and no drops.

Hey @SnakeSlippers, So I am really not sure how this would be possible for the mod to effect your FPS specifically in those areas, understandably all mods will reduce FPS but for it to only effect you in those specific areas is very weird as the mod is really not doing a great deal other than repairing/cleaning your vehicle.
I will do some more testing but so far I do not seem to be able to replicate your issue you are facing.

@MickieFinn Hey Im sorry man. It might not be this mod. I put this in and the FPS drops I take it out the FPS is fine. But then other places the FPS drop with out this mod, so idk man this game is impossible to test for performance drops for mods. Forget what I said lol Its still a awesome mod.

@SnakeSlippers Thats ok mate no worries, I would always rather you reach out to me if you did think you found something, wrong or correct its always worth mentioning just in case.
The best way to test would be to just only load this mod on its own without the use of any other mods, you can always put a _ at the start of the scripts folder, so _scripts and then make a n000ew scripts folder and only put this mod in there, best way to test it really.

@MickieFinn Yea I test on a clean game, with nothing else. Then test a bunch of mods. Everything runs good then you add 1 more then the fps drops so you assume its the mod you just added. I been testing for weeks straight lol

@MickieFinn I'm back to using this mod again. Its too good not to use. Is there anyway you can make like a trimmed version of this mod? Just the opening car doors part? Like this mod Automatic Vehicle Door Opener [Anims][Fixed]? But yours opens doors and works with controller.
