Ever got out of your RC Bandito by accident and realized Rockstar didn’t bother letting you get back in?
Yeah, same here. That’s why I made this mod.
Back in the Bandito V lets you re-enter any RC Bandito you’ve previously used just by walking up to it and pressing F (the normal enter vehicle key).
No more losing it forever or having to respawn a new one — if it exists in the world, you can jump right back into it like a normal vehicle.
How It Works
When you exit an RC Bandito, the script automatically arms itself.
Go near any RC Bandito in the world and press F to get back inside.
If you’re already inside one when the script starts, the system detects it and stays disarmed until you exit.
Works with any RC Bandito you spawn (Menyoo, mod menus, or online SP equivalents).
Doesn’t teleport it to you — you actually have to be close to get in.
Feels like how Rockstar should have done it from day one.
Controls
Action : Key :
Re-enter RC Bandito F (default enter-vehicle key)
(Uses your normal keybind. No stupid hotkeys.)
Installation
Drop the .dll file into your:
Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\
You need:
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet
A scripts folder
That’s it. Nothing else to configure.
Known Limitations
Only works for the RC Bandito (obviously)
Doesn’t auto-respawn or teleport the RC (maybe future update?)
Very lightweight — doesn’t constantly scan like a psycho
Why I Made This
I was tired of getting out of the Bandito, not being able to get back in, and having to spawn a new one every time. This fixes that and makes the RC actually usable in singleplayer.

Update v1.1 — Controller Support
Reworked Enter/Exit handling to use native action binding (Control.VehicleExit)
This means the mod now respects custom keybindings and should support controllers automatically.
Let me know if you encounter any issues using gamepads!

Controller? It's a little immersion breaking having to use the keyboard to perform actions when using controller.
